Strength and Conditioning

I help people get strong, move well, and feel like athletes again. Using proven methods that actually work, not whatever’s trending this week. We nail the basics, build solid habits, and progress properly. In a way that respects your joints, your recovery, and your real life. Got niggles? Old injuries? Certain lifts you don’t trust? No problem. I’ll adjust the plan, coach your technique, and make sure you train with confidence - improving week after week without breaking yourself in the process.

LEVEL 3 PERSONAL TRAINING DIPLOMA

OVER 25 YEARS COACHING EXPERIENCE

"my job is to help them maximise what they have and raise their ceiling."

I’m a former professional athlete turned personal trainer. I had the privilege of competing in two Rugby World Cups - experiences that taught me what high performance really looks like behind the scenes. The early mornings, the setbacks, the pressure, the discipline, the standards you hold yourself to when nobody’s watching. That environment shaped me - not just as an athlete, but as a man, a father and a husband.

Now as a coach, I work with athletes at all levels - from developing juniors chasing scholarships, to seasoned competitors preparing for big seasons, to busy adults who still want to feel strong, athletic and capable. Whether it’s building strength, improving speed, increasing resilience or extending careers, my job is to help them maximise what they have and raise their ceiling.

"Every small progression builds evidence that you’re capable"

Rugby gave me opportunity, structure, purpose and lifelong lessons. Coaching is how I pass that on. It’s about leaving no stone unturned - covering strength, conditioning, recovery, mindset and habits - so when it's time to step up and perform, they know they’ve done the work.

Self-belief is one of the biggest components of success. And resistance training is one of the most powerful ways to build it. Every rep challenges your mindset. Every heavy set forces you to confront doubt. Every small progression builds evidence that you’re capable. Strength training doesn’t just change your body - it sharpens your mind, reinforces discipline, and teaches you to lean into discomfort. That’s where growth happens.
