Endurance EVENT COACH
I believe in bringing evidence based practice and over a decade of practical experience together in delivering a service that meets you where you are right now so we can work together in achieving your goals. I don't believe short term fixes ever really 'do the job' and the way I work is very much with a focus on your long term development in becoming as fit, strong and physically capable as possible. I want you to feel like you have someone in your corner who will be there to push you when you need it, at the same time as being a voice of reason and reassurance.

"I want you to be confident in your ability in taking on those challenges and goals that have been in the back of your mind for months or even years"
I help people who want to run further, faster & become stronger and more robust endurance athletes/enthusiasts. Whether that's breaking race PB's, challenging yourself to a longer distance or having the confidence in your capabilities to be able to take on any challenge you want. I got into coaching after finishing university having lost a considerable amount of weight as a teenager (35kg). Over the years I discovered a love for all things strength & conditioning and explored a number of sports before really finding my feet (pun intended) in trail running.
Having been through various 'transformations' and through intentional challenges whether it was powerlifting, hyrox, multi day hiking trips or ultra marathons - I've felt first hand the value of what challenging yourself physically can do for your confidence, self belief and ultimately happiness.
"It doesn't start and stop at the door of the gym & building a positive and trusting coaching relationship is at the heart of that"
I want you to be confident in your ability in taking on those challenges and goals that have been in the back of your mind for months or even years. The ones that you're a bit nervous to sign up to because you're not sure if you're ready yet. I want you to have the experience of seeing success with those and all the stories, memories and experiences that come with them.
I've been coaching for 11 years now and in that time have had clients compete at local and national level in both strength and endurance sports. This has ranged from British powerlifting champions to podium finishes at ultra marathons as well as first time powerlifting meets, hyrox races, 10k races, half marathons and ultra marathons. In my eyes, coaching should feel like you have the support you need in your pocket. It doesn't start and stop at the door of the gym & building a positive and trusting coaching relationship is at the heart of that.
