Our clients see their trainer between twice and four times per week at our private facility in Benfield. We will also provide sessions to do at home, in the great outdoors or at your local gym where suitable.

Words from Spencer Davey, Storm Founder

Storm Started when I was a professional Rugby player with the Newcastle Falcon’s. Just six months later I was dealt the devastating news that my career in sport was to come to an end due to injury.

At that point the goals, challenges and aspirations of my personal training clients replaced my aspirations as a sportsman and I threw myself wholeheartedly into a personal training career.

I set out to build a team of professional trainers to deliver the highest standard of training and nutrition advice possible. Something that was clear to me was the importance of psychology. All of our trainers are trained in coaching and mentorship because we recognise that knowing what to do and actually doing it are two different things.

Eight years down the line we now have a reputation for having changed the trajectory of thousands of people’s health and fitness from ages nine-ninety (yes seriously) from couch bound to Olympics bound.

Our Culture

Close to eight years ago we realised that the popular approach to tackling health and fitness just wasn’t working. Endless ineffective training sessions and hocus-pocus faddy diets were everywhere.

We decided enough was enough and we started building a team to deliver our blend of effective weight training, personalised nutrition and coaching.

Since then, I am pleased to say, there has been a polar shift in the fitness industry toward a similar approach to ours. We’ve had to work hard to stay ahead of the curve when it comes to our education and implementation but that hasn’t been a problem for our team because it’s our passion and we live and breathe our job!

All of our team are involved in a program of continuing professional development from the moment they join us. We reinvest the equivalent of £2,000 per year into each and every member of the team’s education to ensure the information and training you receive is the very best available.

We run private workshops every month in house with professors from local universities and local and international practitioners.
